Terence started off in the control room on the Saltend chemical plant in Hull. After saving some cash he gave up his job to concentrate on training for a career as a film composer. He moved south to go to the National Film and Television school where he met Nina who had recently left Rotterdam to become an animation film-maker. As well as getting married, they have worked together on various film projects and recently won a BAFTA and an Oscar nomination for their short animation Wander to Wonder. 

After moving to Brighton they met Sarah, an English teacher with a love for Macbeth, also a classically trained alto singer and flautist, at a recording session for a film and they decided to start a band.
